From April 23 to May 29, the Gallery of the Center for Creative Development and Humanistic Education of Children “On Vasilevsky” (13th line of VO, 40) hosted the exhibition “Point of intersection” of the family of artists – Gennady Matyukhin, Elena Matyukhina and Polina Kozyreva. Gennady Alexandrovich Matyukhin (1937-2012) – a pupil and follower of G.Ya. Dlugach. Under the guidance of his mentor, he studied analytical painting in the halls of the Hermitage. From 1972 to 2008, he taught painting at the St. Petersburg City Palace of the Youth Creativity, and was head of the city methodical union of teachers of art studios.
